Digital TV Channel Expands Offerings
WILL-DT (SD2)--also known as Virtual Channel 12.3/Digital Channel
9.3--is changing its program lineup. Beginning August 15, the channel
has been split between Create and the new PBS World public
affairs program service.
Create, which features public television’s most popular how-to
programs, airs from 6 am to 6 pm Central Time.
PBS World, which highlights PBS’ documentary, public affairs
and news programming, airs from 6 pm to 6 am Central Time. The new
channel brings together such nonfiction series as American Experience,
Frontline, Nature, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer,
NOVA and The Tavis Smiley Show, as well as Ken Burns’ popular
miniseries and independent films and other programs.
