What does the high incidence of diabetes, high blood pressure, and
heart disease in the African American community have to do with the
rising costs of health care? Last
year, the number of people without health coverage increased by more
than 2 million—the largest one-year increase in a decade. We’ll
take a closer look at the healthcare crisis, the prospects for
Universal Health Care, and why Black folks should care with our
guests Dr. Robert Boone and Mr. Cleveland Jefferson.
